At Maxiloto, we always keep you informed so you don't miss any of these great opportunities to win life-changing prizes.

Fun Facts about the National Lottery
As a lottery lover, I enjoy sharing some stories and facts about this centuries-old draw:
- The Traveling Draw: Throughout the year, several special Saturday Draws are held in different cities across Spain, spreading luck all over the country.
- A Traditional System: Unlike other games, the National Lottery still uses the traditional system of multiple drums (one for each digit of the number and another for the prizes), which gives it a special charm.
- The Origin of the Refund: The refund (reintegro) was introduced to increase the number of prizes and give back hope (and the investment) to more players, becoming one of the most beloved features of the game.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about the Saturday Lottery
How much does a Saturday Lottery ticket cost?
Maxi answers: The ticket for the ordinary Saturday draw costs €6. Keep in mind that on many Saturdays, Special Draws are held with much larger prizes, and in those cases, the ticket price can be €12, €15, or €20, depending on the draw. We always indicate it clearly on the website!
Is the €60,000 first prize also tax-free?
Maxi answers: This is a very important question. Unlike the Thursday draw, the Saturday first prize of €60,000 is subject to the tax withholding of 20% on the amount exceeding €40,000. This means the first €40,000 are exempt, and tax is paid on the remaining €20,000. Transparency first!
What's the difference with the Thursday Lottery?
Maxi answers: The main difference is in the price and the prize. The Thursday ticket costs €3 and is for a first prize of €30,000 (which is also tax-free). The Saturday one costs €6 and is for a first prize of double that, €60,000. Double the investment for double the prize!
What is a Special Saturday Draw?
Maxi answers: These are draws that the Spanish National Lottery holds on special dates (Valentine's Day, Father's Day, etc.) instead of the ordinary Saturday draw. The ticket price is higher, but the prizes are also multiplied, sometimes reaching special jackpots of up to 15 million euros for a single ticket share.
